If you’re starting from scratch, focus on understanding the SSB process before worrying about preparation. Learn how PPDT, psychology tests, GTO tasks, and the interview work, and what assessors are looking for in each stage.

After that, start practicing regularly. Read newspapers, improve your communication skills, work on your fitness, and spend time reflecting on your own strengths and weaknesses. Many candidates jump straight into mock tests and coaching material without building a strong foundation first, make sure you don’t do that.

The goal is not to become a different person before SSB, but to become a better version of yourself while developing the qualities expected from an officer.
